GMTll C vs TWO TONE SUB 16613 IS IT A GOOD TRADE?
Hi all, I currently own a V series S/S GMT II C, a friend who owns a LIKE NEW V series 2 tone sub 16613 offer me for an even swap. I like both watches and I can take this opportunity upgrade to a 2 tone at no cost except it does not have the new bracelet and super case like my GMTll C. I also own a Sub LV S/S 16610, that's why I am considering a two tone model. Should I do the trade or not?

No. The GMT is the bomb and you already have a Sub. Keep what ya got and be happy. However, if you do for some reason still want to make the trade, it is pretty close to an even trade in my opinion. Depends on the condition of both watches.

You already have a beautiful Sub. GMT 2C is awesome, too. Keep your watches, IMHO.

If it was me I'd stay put. You have two great watches! Good luck on your decision.

I like the combination of his Sub, two tone with blue dial, very nice looking watch but I feel like I go backward if I trade my new generation Gmt to his 16613 Sub.

I just did the opposite. I traded my mint 16613 for a new GMT II C even up. Go with what you like.

The tt Sub makes a nice addition, when you already have an all stainless version.

Steve, you read my mind, the main reason I consider to trade is I already have a S/S LV and a S/SGMTllC but I don/t have a two tone.

i tried on a bunch of maxi-case-maxi-dialed rollies over the last week. i just couldn't make them work. i find the previous case/dials have far more grace and flexibility. the new ones are super nice too, with great upgrades, but just different.

Does this qualify for 'dumbest post of the year' so far?.
