Maybe a silly request...
Hello guys,
If it's not too much trouble, would an owner of an Explorer I mind posting a photo of his beloved watch on his wrist? As much as I love the Explorer II, I am considering the understated Explorer I for my hubby (to save a bit of $$$). It would be nice to actually see it on a man's wrist, as opposed to me visiting the dealer and holding it up to my own wrist. Plus, my local dealer is a woman, all my friends are women...you get the idea Thanks!! |

Anytime By the way, the Explorer is one of the all time classics If it only had a date, I'd still have mine

The all women club is great, but is she giving you a nice discount ?? Go for the Explorer II.You have the option of white or black and it has a date function and second time zone function. It wears great.Destinctly Rolex, but not as common as a Sub/date. Can even change the dials in the future from white to black or vice versa. Understated, elegant, yet sporty and eyecatching,at the same time

I love the Explorer...the ONLY thing I'd miss is the date, but it's a really understated and elegant piece. There are some really nice SS Datejusts that may work well for him if you like the overall look of the Explorer but feel your husband would need and use the date function.

Here is mine. I echo the message that the only thing missing on this beauty is the date.
Pity you are in the US, as I will be selling it soon. One owner D series, complete package, still under warranty (just). John. |

YOur husband will love the Explorer 1. Got my Dad one and he loves it! He also has 8" wirst and it looks great on him. Perfect size. Can be a dress or a pure sports watch. Pure Simplicity. Good choice!
Note: not my photo, one taken off a file. |

I do like this watch. Since it's a bit smaller than the other sport models, I was wondering how it would look on the wrist - but it still looks very manly and I can see how one is able to dress it up or down nicely. Thanks for the photos, guys!
