Rolex DSSD - Lume question
Hi everyone,
My grandpa (an avid watch collector), just passed away and had left me his DSSD. Funnily enough, I'm the complete opposite of him and know nothing about watches, so hopefully all the terms I'm using are right From what I understand, his DSSD was a very recent purchase. However, the lume colours on this particular watch are very strange; around the circumference it's blue, but the minute/hour hands are green. Knowing my grandpa's spending habits I don't think the watch is a fake, but is this a major sign that it could be? Is this a new design? Or is it simply a manufacturing mistake that I could maybe prize since it's "unique"? Thanks for any help and I'll try and get some pictures up later tonight! |

The hands on a DSSD should have a blue lume just like the hour markers on the dial!
I'd be a concerned if it was green...as there is no "new design" to this model! Post up picks and we may be able to tell.
