Watch appraisal

I would like to buy insurance for my watch, Jewelry Mutual ask for appraisal, they said it could be done at any jewelry store. Should I get the appraisal at any store or look for a license one?

Thanks

There maybe a nomber of Jewelry stores that could or couldn't, however I would call a Rolex AD and see what they would charge to do it for you.

My AD normally charges $95, but they sent me an appraisal within a week of my purchase, and the sales guy appraised my vintage TT DJ no charge.

I'm going through the very same thing with Jewelers Mutual. I just popped by my AD and they gave me one for free in about ten minutes. I bought the watch from them earlier this year.

On my other watch the AD gave me a free appraisal at the time I bought the watch.

I just contact the AD I bought it from and they send me an updated appraisal free of charge.

Just did the Daytona this week actually.
