Heres some info on it
Ulysse Nardin. A large and unusual stainless steel water-resistant aviator's wristwatch with indirect sweep centre seconds and black dial
Signed Ulysse Nardin, Locle, manufactured in 1943 Cal. 12''' 264 Felsa nickel-finished jewelled lever movement, the black dial with gilt printing, luminous Arabic and baton numerals, luminous hands, indirect sweep centre seconds, in large circular water-resistant-type case with screw back, case, dial and movement signed 38 mm. diam. I only know of 3 other ones but they all have refinished dials. As we all know original is king!! |

Great watches guys. I especially enjoyed seeing the non-Rolex vintage. Think I may need to do some research on vintage Seiko. Really cool!

I actually went and did some checking almost as soon as I saw it..... And there were a couple on the bay of thieves. But the size of it is way too big for me at 45 mm across the width and a bit more from 6 - 12 o'clock since the Chrono buttons are at 11, 12 and 1. Was pretty meaty in the thickness stakes too so I would never wear it.......which is my golden rule for collecting Shame because it looks great |

Took a brief tour last night through the 'bay to see what's out there and saw a few Seiko references that look huge. I thought I saw one that was 50mm across? Maybe that is the "tuna can"? Also, some of them looked really thick, as in thicker than an SD. Then again, it's hard to tell sometimes from pictures.
