question
since i am new to owning a rolex can you please help me answer one question. please explain why the numbers on the bezel turn colors to a yellowish orange.

It appears as this watch gets older and probably exposed to more sun light it is causing the material they used to change color. Don't worry however, some collectors luv these different effects of aging and patina. Sometimes it even helps to make the watch worth a bit more money. Not sure that this will happen in your case but I think it adds some character to the watch. Looks good.

I currently own this watch and bought it about two months ago. However, I picked up a ceramic ss sub date, and I love the maxi dial. I find it way more appealing than the older style sub like this. I wonder if my AD will let me trade up. They are going to think I'm nuts. I mean I love the watch, but I like the newer one better. It has such a better build quality from the clasp to the bracelet, and of course the glidelock, oh and not to forget the lume is amazing. I just hate parting with it, but I want to.
