TOG vs. DJ...a weird finding on TOG
Not sure why my thread was deleted previously...but here i go again.
On a few TOGs that i have seen, i have noticed that the luminous "dot" seems to be off-centered from the minute marker. Is this a common?? Not bad, but noticeable to my anal eyes. Has anyone noticed this? Right now, i am debating b/w TOG (white face; silver) vs. DJ 116234 with white face, stick hands, baton minute markers, and WG bezel. Any advice? Thx. |

Lume dot?
I may be wrong, but in every TOG by Rolex that I've ever seen, old model and new, there is no lume dot...just either a triangle in the current version or the raised triangle in the prior versions with the cast rotating bezel.
My only unsolicited suggestion is that if you find, for whatever the reason, a feature that offends you, then I would opt for a watch model that you find more pleasing...especially at the price points of the two watches you're talking about. |

The luminous dots on the (black) dial of my 2010 Turn-O-Graph line up perfectly. Even if they were off slightly, it's too small a problem to even think about. Look for flaws and you'll find them. Whatever you decide, good luck. =Mark=

Yes, little lume "dots", but they do line up.
Affixed to the dial, their face is lower than the face of the applied indices, and depending on the angle, they may appear off center. |

Personally, i am leaning towards TOG simply because you get more for your money by all the extra little features (red lettering and second hand; engrave numbers on bezel). But, i am also allured by the regular DJ with the huge minute markers with luminous stuffed in it. Tough decisions! |
