Question about a Radiomir Black Seal 183 G
Hi everyone!
Here's a newbie question for you. I have an opportunity to purchase a PAM 183 G. I understand that the "G" series of the Black Seal are the first modern ones, and are different from all the rest to come because of the placement of the words "Black Seal" at 6 o'clock on the dial. I understand the Movement is decorated differently also. 1. I was just wondering if there is any benefit to getting this Radiomir as opposed to a more recent one. 2. Has the movement or anything else been improved over the last few years? I read that 'collectors' might like the G series one in the future because it looks different, but right now it seems like the same price as any other series. Anyway, Thanks for all your help and insight... Stephen. |

Pretty much the same price (maybe a few hundred more). If I had a choice between a G and a non-G, I'd take the G. Love the Panerai Radiomir at the top. Much more like the desired 190!
You can see the 190 (middle) compared with the 210 (right). I just think it looks better when both are on the top!

Well.... I just found out that the 183 G is sold :-(
Oh well - I can wait.... lots of people have real problems. Anyway, what is a good price to pay for a pre owned complete set PAM 183 in near mint condition? The 183 G was $4,600. Is that good? What do you think I should be looking to pay? |

Well I think it may not be worth as much as I thought it would be... hmm... I hardly notice the difference.
