I think so, for several reasons ...
Local currency is strong,at the moment Price increase due Got it at MSRP No clauses attached to the deal(More than MSRP,buy another Rolex first, buy jewellry, give a huge deposit etc ) Huge waiting lists everywhere.I have seen the lists. The white ss Daytona, together with the Blue TT Sub,has always been a grail. Due to the nature of my work,I know how short life can be.We all only live once.(Unless we are Hindus ... ) |

Perhaps I should order a black dial for the future, but if he rings me in a weeks time and say its there,I am going to kill him !!! I may be one of few who found the waiting period too short ..

Whats also interesting is that he was prepared to trade my SD in on the Daytona.None of the other ADs would consider a trade in on a ss Daytona.
Also,a good price,I thought.I bought the SD for $4400 and he was prepared to give me in the region of $3950,without seeing the watch. Thought about it for a while, but decided no.I love the Dweller !! Not for sale |

Ironically the Panerai dealer, also called today and said he had a 104 for US$5110.That,unfortuanately, wont be an option with the Daytona arriving.
