Which one? Day Date Pesidential

Hey Guys,

I was wondering if iI could get some help choosing between these 3 watches. The watch is a gift for my wife.

They all 3 are day date presidents. The first 2 are very similar, whereas the 3rd is a co-branded barked offering.

Any extra info or advice you could pass along would be greatly appreciated!

Pics? Dial choices? I think we need a little more info. Ultimately though get the one you like. Remember, we all have different skin tones and therefore different watches/metals look better on different people.

Watch # 2 so far. Im friends with the seller, & he is a real honest up front guy!

But watch #3 is definitely rarer, for me I'd choose either 2 or 3

The barked is intriguing, but I dont know if it would be a daily wearer for a woman.

They are very similar. I too would opt for watch 2 as it appears identical to watch 1 and is a little cheaper. Also it's always nice to help a friend. How is the bracelet stretch on these?

I'm not as big a fan of the bark and if I were in the market I'd prefer roman numerals...

Of the three, I like number two.

I think #1 is the best looking, I like the dial on it better than the others.

They are all from 1986. The stretch on #2 is allegedly 80%. Bear in mind I will have to remove links for the wrist.

Hopefully you know for sure that your wife appreciates something preowned.

For me, as a female, definitely not the bark, and also the branding is unappealing. Beyond this, I'd be persuaded most by condition, especially of the bracelet. None of these pics does a good job showing what degree of stretch there is. If you can ascertain relative condition, get the nicer one of 1 or 2.

CF, its great to get a womens input! She a big fan of preowned. Plus 1986 is of special significance to us.

Based on discussions with the sellers:

Band is super tight in item 1
Band is ~80% in item 2

dpkong, the prices are listed at the top of each.

I go back and forth on the bark. It is unique, and if it were for me, I would probably choose it. However, a woman wearing this watch is already a bit unusual so adding that might be a bit much. Plus, I want her to be able to wear it over a wide variety of occasions, and my gut feeling is that the first 2 would better allow her to do that. All that said, the "Tiffany's" aspect does add a little femininity to it.

Just got off the Phone with number 1 he says the bracelet is 90%

So that's 90% for number 1
80% for number 2

You need to check the bracelet out real good first.

Ive looked around but have unable to find any pictures of women wearing a barked. In fact, most of the barked pictures are really close up. Any of you have any pictures or links that would be helpful in helping me visualize what the barked might look like on. (yep, needs to be a surprise :) )

Maybe someone with a barked could take a picture of their wife or gf with it on? Haha!

i've actually held a few DD at the place where i view pre-owned watches and the one that really drew me was the bark finish. it's quite hard to describe but the pictures you see are really magnified. in real, they're a little like matt finished and rough. quite unlike the polished ones. i think you really do need to see them in person and have a feel for it before you buy.

if you do get the bark, you can always make your wife love it by constantly admiring it.
