Watches on the tube.....

Anybody watching Showtime's "Sleeper Cell"? The main bad guy has a SS Daytona (Or white gold).

Also on "Flight of the Pheonix" I think the squirrely engineer has either an explorer or datejust (white face, don't know if explorer can have a white face).

Anybody seen these?

I haven't seen those, but last night I noticed that Chris Hansen (from Dateline NBC) wears a SS Sub, and that Brian Williams (from NBC Nightly News) wears what looks to be a SS Sub.... Maybe it's an NBC thing?

I think I saw a screenshot of Brian Williams with a Black/Red GMTII as well.

Ex-II is available in a white dial, for sure, as is the datejust. Look for that red 24-hr hand and printing on the bezel to make the determination.
I don't think the new Explorers are available in a white dial....maybe a vintage reference?

I was referring to an explorer I, the watch the keek was wearing was too small to be an explorer II.
