I purchased this from the original owner yesterday who bought it new in 1968 in Switzerland.
He had it serviced 1 time and hardly wore it he told me.
The watch is not working and is sold as is. It starts and stops and my watchmaker says it needs cleaning and can do it for $300 if you want to have it done its an option or you can have your watchmaker do it.

For the how much is it worth in Gold Question.
There is at a minimum (because the dial itself is gold but was not weighed) 13.2 grams of gold here (look at pictures) At today spot price of gold $1824 thats $44 a gram for 18k and around $585 just in gold value. There is also a movement etc included. The parts add up at scrap to what I am asking for this nice watch.

Due to the price of Gold most companies will stop making gold watches and those that do will want a minimum of 10x the price of gold factored in the watch.

$750 plus shipping..........Unheard of for a real 18k gold watch
