Two questions for my new 214270

The first week with the watch was excellent as for chronometry, comfort etc.
But I had a bad experience: I hit the watch at the door and it got a small dent on the edge of the bezel, below six!!
Is it something that could be fixed and wait for RS or I should worry?
Secondly, I bought it from an AD but he forgot to give the Explorer manual and the COSC stamb. Should I ask for them?

Thank you in advance!

I always really liked the 36mm Explorer it was just a tad too small for my size (I have an architect friend with impeccable taste who wears one 24/7 for many years). At first the 'shorter hands' on the 39mm version really threw me off but I fairly certain I can live it them, it might be my next purchase.

Go for it!!

I bought mine on saturday after about 6 months of trying on virtually every Rolex currently available.

For me its me first and will be the base of (I hope) many more to come
I think its currently the most sleek available with a nice blend of sport/casual/dress and the bracelet is very nice too.

BTW im only 23 and I prefer it to the sub but hey thats me !

Possibly rule out the milgauss before you decide on the 214270 as they are both very cool, but I went for the safe choice with the exp as I couldnt quite decide on the lightning bolt hand.

The milgauss in white will 99% be the second one if the day comes.

I'm just saying that the fact that Sub is worn everywhere takes something from its beauty, in my eyes. I prefer to wear a watch that someone who doesn't know much about watches would have to get close to it to find out what it is.
In my opinion allways and of course without any intention of offending anyone. Besides, I also find that Sub is a wonderful watch.
Virtually nobody will ever know you're wearing a Rolex Sub. 99.9% of the population don't look at your watch, particularly a medium sized relatively plain looking one.

I have yet to have anyone notice I'm wearing a Sub C, my Panerai, yes a few times, it's unusual and large. A giant $200 Invicta will get way more attention than a plain old Sub. Besides, on the rare occasion someone notices it, they'll wonder if it's even real, so it's stealthy for that reason too. I haven't even noticed anybody I've come across wearing a Sub C, it's actually hard to get a close enough look at a person's watch without looking like an idiot. :) I know, I've done it. :) Did see a guy at Chuck E Cheese a few weeks ago wearing what I think was a real GMT 2c, I felt like we were related. :)
