Tornado's in the Chicagoland area

Funnel cloud about 15 miles from my mom, she's going to go read a book in the laundry room; first floor central location in her 150 unit apartment and no windows.

... A Tornado Warning remains in effect until 330 PM CDT for
northwestern Cook County...

At 311 PM CDT... National Weather Service Doppler radar continued to
indicate a tornado. This tornado was located near Streamwood... or
about near Hoffman Estates... moving east at 15 mph.

The tornado will be near...
8 miles south of Barrington by 320 PM CDT...
Schaumburg and Inverness by 325 PM CDT...
Rolling Meadows... Elk Grove Village... Palatine and Arlington
Heights by 330 PM CDT...

A funnel cloud was reported over Barrington Hills at 309 PM.

Have the weather radio on, and cracked a window so I can hear the village siren like we had a couple days ago.

... The Tornado Warning for northwestern Cook County expires at 330
PM CDT...

The thunderstorm that prompted the warning has weakened... thus the
warning has been allowed expired.

Rockford, IL it's still raining there. They have record rain fall, 5.1 inches, previous record from the 1920's was 1.2 inches. eek!
