JD Power latest survey
According to the J.D. Power and Associates 2007 Vehicle Dependability Study, Buick and Lexus are tied for most dependable car, with the fewest problems. Land Rover, as usual, is DFL.

And the nice thing about Lexus is they don't rush to change the body style every year. I have no doubt that the 2011 LS 460 will look exactly like my wife's 2007 LS 460.
The 2007 SC 430 looks identical to my 2002 SC 430. Kind of like Rolex in that respect.

The problem is it still has the driving feel of a Lexus. Not bad to ride in, but driver communication is as numb as an eskimo's butt. Personally, I never saw the appeal.

Just remember that USA cars are HALF the price of the same car in the UK.

It's certainly not the driver's car that a BMW is, but it's also not a bad experience behind the wheel, either. I switched cars with my boss for a week and I have ZERO complaints about his LS. It's comfortable, powerful enough, and VERY quiet. It's probably the best A to B luxury car there is.

If I had the chance of chosing between a new 335d(200kw and 560Nm) or 335i(225kw and 400Nm).It would be the 335d |

And in the UK, cars are HALF the price as in The Netherlands (a total of 42% VAT and special tax)

That means a Merc 320 CDI Sport 4X4 would cost : $ 45,000 in the USA £ 45,000 in the UK ($90k) Twice the price Euro 133,000 in Netherlands (£90k or $180k) AAAAgh !! I thought that the UK was the highest in Europe. Jeeeees.

Actually, I was exaggerating. We always think we pay too much for our cars overhere. The base model is £ 45,500! (EUR 71,750). Still twice the US price I think Sweden tops the list....

No surprise.
I always try to take myself into a Range, then realize it's not worth the risk... Which is too bad, because the Range is a HELL of a good-looking SUV, and really the only one that I like. It's big but not too big, has that nice boxy-ish looking shape to it that I like, and is luxurious and comfortable. What a waste.

The kicker to that study is that your basic Buick tied Lexus for most dependable. Go figure.
