My First Rolex - SS Sub No-Date
I made the trip to Toronto today to Royal de Versailles where I picked up my very first Rolex, the SS Submariner without a date. I chose this watch because a) it is beautiful b) I don't like the cyclops too much c) the Sea Dweller is just too big for me :)
I am only 19 but I hope to wear this watch for a while, at least long enough to give to a son (so that I can buy a new one ;)). This forum was a great help in getting all the information I needed to purchase my first Rolex. Thanks guys! |

Congrats Classic watch, no bells and whistles - rugged and beautiful at the same time. Enjoy.

Sub without date
Nice watch. It was my first. I only sold it, because in my case, I get disorientated without a date, otherwise I'd still have it (15 years later)

Sub no-date.....Excellent choice...I still have one of those although it doesn't see the wrist time the others do....Maybe it's time to go back to my roots.. |

Congrats on a great watch. I'm sure your son will be glad to take it off your hands when the time comes.
