Over the last 6 years we have had 1 IUI and 3 IVF Fianally at a great clinic in Thailand. The last IVF resulted in 9 blastocyst embryos. After a total of 4 heartbreaking miscarriages,we still have three good Blastocyst embryos in Thailand In three weeks we will in Thailand for FET. Fingers crossed.
Brother I am right there with you. Few people will know what you and your wife are going though.
Feel free to PM me if you want to talk.

Hang in.

Hoping for two completely healthy babies to turn your life upside down (in a blessed way)........

On a side note, it irks me that people who shouldn't be having kids seem to have no problems doing so, while people who would be devoted parents often struggle to bring their dreams to fruition......./rant

Best wishes. My daughter, now 7, kept trying to come out early and I had to bring my wife to the hospital twice for IV drugs to stop her from dialating and contracting. She had to leave her job and stay in bed as much as possible for about 4 weeks. It worked out.

My sister had two premature girls. They were in the hospital for awhile, and in their first 18 months or so of life, they were "delayed" relative to milestones. They are now 11 years old, and some of the tallest, smartest and most amazing kids ever.

A cousin of mine had her son extremely premature, about a month more premature than my sister's kids. He was delayed into his early grade-school years, but today at age 9, you would barely know.

Keep her rested and comfortable, and hopefully take comfort in the experiences of my family.

Best wishes to you and your wife and soon to be children. Our B twin was always smaller than the other in utero. Now they are almost exactly the same size.

Hey buddy all the best. My Mrs is almost two months pregnant now and i now pray for both her and yours.
On a side-note do not worry too much doctors, do scare couples just to make their point understood as well as in an effort cover their asses just in case.
It sounds like she just needs rest brother, be positive!

We tried to get pregnant for 2.5 years and went through 3 IUI's and 1 round of Invetro IVF. It was VERY hard and VERY expensive. My wife was crushed today by the news.

Well after the ultra sound the Dr. said the girl is much smaller than the boy and my wife was ordered to stage 3 bed rest. This is one step below hospital bed rest. We've got 16 weeks to go till D day.

Anyone have experience with this? I will do anything to keep my little ones safe but boy it's scary!

Please say a prayer for us.

My wife can no longer work and is basically bed ridden.

Here are the instructions from the Dr.:

8-10 Hours of sleep.
Rest in bed all day, and on your left side as much as possible.
You may only get up to go to the bathroom and take a short shower.
Do not climb stairs unless absolutely necessary.
You will need someone else to do all the household chores and childcare.
Eat meals in bed, lying on your side.
Leave house only for Dr. Appointments or emergencies.

They are going to re-evaluate her in 2 weeks and see if we need to put her in the hospital.

Andrea

Matt,
Consider it done!
