X2! Looks like a dud. It would have been better cut smaller, and more traditionally. Maybe it's really old?

I would say it looks like a rose cut kind of. But i have dealt with many oddly shaped diamonds from europe. You may know of the tradition of having a family diamond and passing it down to the first born child. But the ones i have dealt with though high in weight 1.0 to 5.0 really dont have great shape. I beleive its due to keeping the weight and size rather than brilliance etc. I would guess this was an old european cut diamond that was mounted to a newer ring mount.

Whatever it is it sure looks interesting. I have a diamond that was my grandmother's set in a ring and it's the old European cut round diamond!!!

What is best a custom Rolex or a Rolex that is stuck in custom?

Buy a professional camera and you´re a professional
photographer, buy a flute and you own a flute.

My wife has a few, but not as the primary stone. They are point down on the sides of emerald cuts.
