Daytona Real or Fake?
I have been looking into a Daytona for a while. I really like the steel/Gold. I found a guy that needs some cash and is willing to sell his. I don't know a ton about this watch and I hear there are a lot of fakes. From the picture I got from him, can anyone tell?
Thanks |

He's posted in the right section. He's looking for sound advice from the experts out there. The watchout section is for watches, websites, vendors that are found to be fraudulent and you want to warn others about it.

Now that it's been determined to be a fake, it's been moved. Great work gents.

Yes, very bad fake indeed.
1) Look at the crapy writing on the dial. 2) Look at the 0 on the dial at '30'. See how the 3 and the 0 are diverging? 3) Look at the 15 on the dial. Look at the 5. See those dots around it? 4) Same as 3) but this time look at the 5 in 45. 5) The leftmost mini dial: the lines should be going all the way through the golden part. 6) The bezel looks very Brassy/Bronzy rather than Goldy. as compared to the link. Worth about $10!! |

Thanks! Saved a lot there. What is a good price for a good Daytona Steel/Gold With Mother-of-Pearl Dial?
