Rude Message

Is it just me? I got a very rude PM from a forum member who I don't know, and have never had any dealings with. This message was totally uncalled for. Did any one else get a similar message or have I been singled out?

No. I have never experienced this.

I suggest you do not engage in ANY dialogue with that member and just report it to one of the moderators.

I am sad that you have had a bad experience here.

It was a previously banned member trying to regain access to the forum and be disruptive. He's been banned again under the new user name. Thanks for the heads up, guys. If anyone else receives any of these, please PM me right away

I believe I would have been very upset to find a rude pm waiting on me. I associate this forum with a higher class of people and have deeply enjoyed the hospitality here. I'm glad that the mods won't tolerate such behavior.

I've only been on the Forum a few weeks now and have corresponded with three different folks via PM.

The first was from Tom (KansaiVet), offering to hook me up with his AD after I posted that the ADs I had dealt with were less than competent. I accepted the offer and ended up enjoying one of the best nights of my life when I bought my SD and treated Tom to a steak dinner.

The second was initiated by me, asking for help from Allen (Prince) with my avatar and signature line. He graciously agreed and less than 24 hours he set me up. I have no idea how much work was involved on his part, but even if it took him only 5 minutes it was a very kind act to do for a total stranger who offered nothing in return except gratitude.

The third was again initiated by me, this time asking Bo (Spacedweller) for technical help with posting photos. He immediately sent a clear, concise list of instructions which made it easy even for a non-computer savvy person like me.

As far as I'm concerned, this Forum is the greatest bunch of folks I've ever hung out with. Mess with one of us and you mess with all of us!

Thanks Craig As said above if any improper private messages are received please report them immediately. The aim of such messages is likely intended to cause disharmony on the forum, so do not empower such an intended purpose by being offended. Just report it to a moderator and let them deal with the problem.

You know, that THING you have going between you. It's really not something we like to talk about in polite company.
