It has been coming for a while, this occasion we were outplayed, there have been other occasions in this world cup where we were second best but came away winners.
If by some fluke we had beaten the French, IMHO we would have lost to Wales, as for the All Blacks or Wallabies.......erm, lets just say, loosing to France is a blessing.

Still can't believe the Aussies won with a quarter of possession. I nearly (note I said nearly) felt sorry for South Africa :)
Also thought NZ looked average for their high standards, maybe missing Carter is a bigger blow then I thought. If Wales can squeeze thru against France (and thats a big IF) I think they have a good chance and not a routine beating!! |

"Dear Bokke
Having territorial advantage, having possession of the ball, means nothing if the chances cannot be converted into points. At the end of the day,all that matters is the scoreboard. You didnt use your chances. Regards Chris" |

ABs are the clear favourites but on the day anything may happen. |

should be interesting. i just don't trust the frogs, they can be very dangerous if they are on their game on the day. still wales may well win if they do everything right

World cup ? ..... What world cup ??
Since the Boks made their exit from the world cup I can now have a relaxed and unbiased view on the subject at hand : All Blacks .... Number 1 team in the world.Home soil.Drought since 1987.Hunger.Dan The Man,is missing, but I believe the team to beat. Wallabies .... Tri-Nations champs.Classy players, but is Cooper a showman or can he produce the goods under pressure ?? Great defense against the Boks.Great defensive sides win world cups. The French ..... who knows which team will be pitching ?? The magnificent "Beat anybody on the day" team with flair or the "Lost to Tsonga outfit ?? Dangerous when they are hot !! Wales ... Be honest, who thought they would make the semis ??? They are there,BIGTIME !! Youthful and now full of confidence. Going to be two great semifinals !! ENJOY !!! |

Worse than that... 15 v 14 for 60 mins. I think Les Bleus will hack up now, shame about the circumstances.
I'm watching with interest!
