I consider myself a "breast man", and I absolutely hate fake ones. Silicone is legal again in the US and those seem to look and feel better than saline.

I'll add another celebrity who is nearly flat but stunning. Selma Blair. I think she is one of the hottest celebs even though she isn't busty.

Agreed. I'd add if they are larger (and therefore heavier), they can cause back pain as well.

Just tell her that you love her as she is and it's a waste of money and some serious things can happend.

I have jocke over and over again, I love her just the way she is but shes always had issues with her boobs and has always talked about getting them done. Ive tried and tried to talk her out of it....

Eh, not always. Some women just want back what they used to have, before babies and breastfeeding. These are the women you work with, or who you see at the grocery store, or who are your wife's buddies, who you might never guess had had it done. Just ordinary gals.

Aww... please tell her not to be upset. Just be sure she takes her time and weighs all sides of the issue so she can make an informed decision and have realistic expectations. Again, I think the majority of women do not regret having implants.

I think it's interesting (in a good way) that most of the men here aren't keen on the idea of implants, preferring the real thing, no matter the size. I wish my sisterhood could understand that being loved for who they are is best.

If she wants them for herself, and thinks they will make her feel better, nothing wrong with that. I have no problems with that surgery, rhinoplasty ("nose job"), tummy tuck, face lift, and others as long as they are done tastefully.

Many of the female celebrities whose photos are approvingly posted from time to time here on TRF have had some type of surgery or another. If a woman is self-conscious about the size of her nose, chest, etc. and she wants to get it done for herself, there is nothing wrong with changing it so long as she knows the risks and benefits.

Breast implants, like face lifts, can be overdone. I do not have a problem with a 70-year old woman wanting to look 15-20 years younger via a face lift...it just looks freakish trying to look 20 again. The same with implants...some can be done that are proportionate to a woman's frame, without looking like a stripper.

I studied the material, took the written test, the "but" Men and the "leg" men were down the hall taking their tests at the same time and they said their's was difficult, but believe me, ours was not easy! I understand the image thing, and agree with Lisa, there is a lot of pressure on women these days to look... "perfect." I get that, but the whole attraction men have to breasts is.. the... Passion. When I see fake ones, it's an instant turn off. I've dated a couple women that had them, but it was NOT exciting, sensuous, nor passionate. Heck, if I want to feel that, I mine as well buy a hot-water bottle. I would much rather .. uh... "enjoy" a woman's REAL and im-perfect breast then fake nice-looking ones... it's just so... fake... plastic... not really her. It's the ... Passion that makes it sensuous.. sexy..
