Do you like to "shop"?
My wife and I were out shopping recently and a sales associate at a clothing store remarked that I must like shopping. My wife started laughing and wholeheartedly agreed with her. I certainly could not deny it, but I haven't always been a shopper: I used to be in and out of stores in minutes as are most guys I know.
It's a (sometimes expensive) form of entertainment I suppose, but now I hunt for and pounce on "bargains".

Buyer mostly. I know what I'm looking for before I leave the house. Not that I can't get distracted in a hardware store however.

I voted for shopper but I'm pretty much both, it just depends on the situation. I know what I want when I get in a store for clothes but if I'm touring in the jewelry stores I can be quite a shopper. The problem is that I wear plain clothes and nowadays they sell very flashy shirts and pants so I have to shop to find something boring to wear! Hehe!

I like shopping for watches, especially Rolex watches.
I like shopping for anything on the internet. I will shop for anything anywhere if I need or want it bad enough. Mainly, I know the stores I frequent very well and when I hit the door, I know where to go to get what I need and I get out ASAP.

Well I would say I a shopper. But the last things I have bought I found in the store and then went home and ordered it online. My two last pair of shoes I ordered from England and saved 200$ on a pair of Crocket and Jones and 90$ on a par Hunter wellingtons. (Both are English brands).

I love the quest for the unusual, vintage, and hard to find... so it pretty much has to be done via internet. Researching, comparing, and finding an item is just as much fun as buying it and taking it home.
So I guess that makes me a shopper? Though at first read I wouldn't have thought so - I dislike the mall, and I'd be the last person to be seen roaming around there with my arms full of shopping bags. |

Shopper and buyer. Nothing wrong with looking, and it's always great to get something special every once in awhile.

I used to be a buyer, but over the years my wife has slowly conditioned me and now we are a very effective shopping machine. It's a lot of fun to go out with our son and spend the day moving from one shopping area to the next and checking out all the sales.

I guess I'm both.
When I go by myself, I know exactly what I want and I know where to find it. I never do this for articles of clothing though. On the other hand, sometimes I just want to get out of the house and I'll tag along with my wife when she goes shopping at the mall. This is when I'll occasionally venture into the men's clothing dept. because my wife can offer a second opinion. |

I'm always in and out in 5 minutes top. I'm a man on a mission when I have to get something. If it's anything besides clothing, then I usually just order it off the net.

I love to shop. I get it from my parents as my dad too loves to shop.
When the weathers crappy what better way to spend a day. I hate sitting on a couch watching tv during the day and shopping at least gets you out and moving. I do not like to shop during the Xmas season at all. It's when all the noob shoppers come out. |

Good answers, folks.
Many years ago, I wanted something from Sharper Image so my wife and I drove to the Houst Galleria. I parked in the back parking lot as close to it as I could. We were in and out in 5 minutes. She was flabbergasted and not in a good way! These days, we are good for hours.

It depends. I like to shop with my bride when we're travelling but I'm really out of my element at the local mall.
