I'd prefer an IWC Portuguese Tourbillon Mystère for that money.

Wow, that is a breathtaking piece of mechanical watchmaking. Gives you the sense that the universe is right there with you. Ulysse Nardin is a brand I have always liked for some reason, even though to date I haven't owned one. Beautiful piece, thanks for bringing this to our attention.

I saw that on Yahoo today. No doubt it's a sophisticated and well made timepiece, but it's not my cup of tea. The most amazing thing was the comments section of the story....some of those folks were about to have a stroke! Almost makes me want to buy one just to piss them off!

I just don't get it that people would get THAT upset about a watch... If you can afford it and you want one, then rock on with your bad self!
