Seriously, Ed, cricket can be both - boring and very exciting. It's the kinda game that can literally put you to sleep with its slowness and monotony...and at times get you onto the very edge of your seat with pulse-pounding excitement.

Basically there are TWO kinds of games - the TEST matches which are played over five days (these can be quite slow and boring at times)....and then we have the exciting ONE DAYERS, also called the ODI (One Day International) which is played over a day, each side getting to bowl 50 overs.

It really is too complex a game to try and explain over this post, but if you're really interested, perhaps a google search will be of considerable help.

Sorry Frans top club football today is played by,little demi gods who think that they are to important for there own good. Most act on, and off the field like spoilt brats,but Rugby you have got to have real balls to play a mans game.

Well Charlie after our hammering by the all blacks,and a very very poor
performance and a narrow win over Fiji, IMO the best side lost.The match against the Springboks,well they have a very powerful and strong team.And
they are the only side to be on parr with the all blacks.We have bulked
up our back line for the game,And last year there were only a few points
between the team.Think the including Dafydd James on the wing might make a big difference and Ruddock has picked all the big boys Sonny Parker and
Gareth Thomas.Its difficult to see how strong we will be when we have had so many injuries. But think it will be a close game,but we got our
pride and we won the 6 Nations so all the fans will be watching,and I am sure the team will come outfighting to win.

To be honest, neither sport (AF & BB) does it for me. And, ashamed to say, that goes for football as well. (Boooo, hisssss). If Orange plays cup matches I’m glued in front of the telly but otherwise I shrug my shoulders. What I liked were F1 racing and bicycle races like the Tour de France. But both sports are heavily dominated by teams with deep pockets so any element of surprise is virtually eliminated.
