I've been toying with the idea of getting myself a 1680 Sub.

Like others on this forum, I can't afford to keep all of my watches. Therefore, you probably understand the dilema. I need to sell one or maybe two, to help raise funds.

Here are some options...

Datejust TT 16233
Explorer Polar 16570 Z-Serial.
Submariner 14060M P-Serial.
GMT 16750
Tudor Snowflake 94110.

I'd ditch the Explorer (not a fan of the modern ones at all), and/or the Sub (as you'll be getting a much cooler sub :)

Otherwise, you have a nice variety with the DJ, GMT and Snowflake.

I would get rid of the 14060 and the snowflake. Once you have the 1680 I doubt they would get any wrist time if your in the "Sub" mood. That way you leave yourself a well rounded collection since all you others have a different style.

Well, I guess get rid of the ones that least appeal to you and get the least wrist time since you have quite a variety there!

If it my choice, I would let the Polar Explorer go. Go for the 1680!

Thank you all for you feedback. However, you are all making this very hard.

How many times have you put on a watch that you haven't held in a long while and said to yourself "I could never let you go". I guess this is how many of our collections continue to grow.

Thanks for all your input, but I think I have hit the end of the road, for now. I'm going to pass on a 1680, and enjoy my current collection as is. I just can't seem to part with either of these pieces, and I don't want to spend another dime!

Someday when I hit the lottery, I will own something else, but for now I'm going to enjoy what I have. No safe queens either!
