Stolen Rolex logo dial collection-Please keep an eye out.

Today, part of my Rolex logo dial collection (about 25 dials) was stolen from my luggage while traveling from Miami to Paris via London. The airline is not helping at all...
At some point, I'm sure it will end up online.
Please keep an eye out.

Another sad story about how airlines try to protect us, and put more of us and our things at risk...

It's getting to be that you have to have insurance for everything because the likelihood of having it come into problems is so high! I'm so sorry to hear about your loss, it truly pains me, and you I'm sure it pains far more. I just hope you can find some of them and time heals your wound.

Sorry to hear that and hope you find them again. Could someone have been watching you and knew what you were carrying? Did they touch anything else and do you have insurance? That's why I always carryin my valuables on me.

The horror.

It is one thing to replace a lost submariner, but that collection is so unique.

Thank you all very much for your kind words and support. This is why I love TRF so much! It's nerve racking...
The Airline made me check them in because after they X-rayed my bag they said it had sharp edges...
I've contacted the Police in Miami, London and Paris. I am not holding my breath but someone they'll show up online. Please let me know if you see any logo dials online.

Oh man, I know you have a great collection, I'm so sorry to hear this.

Seriously, did they think you'd use them for some Kung Fu weapon?

I know it won't happen, but the airline that made you check your bag SHOULD BE liable. sorry about your loss. I will keep my eyes open for you.

its annoying, do you check things in your bag that you know is valuable, or do you risk bringing it in the carry on and hope that airport security dont give you grief over it.

Here is a link of part of what has been stolen. Sadly, I don't have pictures of everything. Who knows, with time things will start to pop up.
