Any college football fans here?
I'm personally a huge LSU fan. I'm excited about this season, but I'm worried about our tough schedule. I think LSU has a good shot at the National Championship game though.
I also think Wisconsin, Michigan and West Virginia have a better shot at the National Championship game then USC, Texas and Florida.... Let's hear your opinions... GEAUX TIGERS! |

I think Penn State will be the # 3 or # 4 team in the Big 10 this year....behind Wisconsin, Michigan and Maybe Ohio State.

I'm a huge Gator fan, Unfortunately I think we used up all of our talent the last 13 months with two Basketball an one football championship. I think LSU, USC, or Michigan will win it this year.

I live for it! Trojan fan here. My first year at The University of Southern California Marcus Allen won the Heisman. I lived through the doldrums of the Tollner, Smith and Robinson II years and am now on top of the world. We have a rough schedule this year since out toughest opponents are all on the road. Just watched ESPN College Football Preview and they stated most of LSU's major games are at home. However, I'm not taking anything away from LSU. Home or away, you still have to win them. I think WVU has the easiest run to the BCS since they should have no problem going undefeated. Starting in the top 5 will allow them to easily be #1 or #2 by the end of the regular season. Hawaii will also run the table but, starting at #23, they will have to high a hill to climb. The computers will also knock them for their schedule. This wasn't their fault since the UH AD was trying to line up any major D1 opponent but none would have them this year since Colt could torch any defense in the country (USC and LSU included, IMHO.)
Good luck to all the teams this year and may the best team win the crystal! |

In the land of the Buckeye, I am a loyal Wolverine fan. I actually live closer to Ann Arbor than I do Columbus. In fact Toledo Ohio use to belong to the state of Michigan. So, if you are truly loyal.......

I went to the University of Hawaii. Go Rainbow Warriors!
Word has it that thier quarterback could be the # 1 rated QB this year. Time will tell. |

They were "just" called the Rainbows when I went there in the 80s.
Yea Baby!! They are now the Rainbow Warriors! Guess just "The Rainbows" was kind of wimpy, but I liked it. Even when they were just the Rainbows, thier on field mascot was a Hawaiian Warrior! |

Huge, Huge, Huge college football fan and proud Bama Alumnus. I won't go into our season because I'm not one of the Bama fans predicting a Nal Championship in Nick Saban's first year. Now next year I expect a return to glory. Actually on paper I believe USC and LSU have the most talent. It's scary the kind of talent USC has and I think they have a much easier schedule in the PAC 10, but I'll be careful with my words unlike Les Miles. I'm not convinced Les Miles is capable of taking them all the way to the BCS title game. The SEC is tough to escape untouched each year. In the SEC I think LSU should win the west and probably Florida in the East. I'm just ready for it to begin. I can't wait for Thursday night - LSU at Mississippi State.

When Bama played out there a couple of years ago everyone I spoke to said the local fans were very friendly and welcoming to all the good ol' boys from Bama that made the trip. Great experience except for Mike Shula doing the coaching. Wish I could have gone. |

That's the Aloha Spirit. All visitors are welcomed and treated like guests. In fact that is what back fired on the Hawaiians when they welcomed Capt. Cook initially and the Missionaries. They lost thier culture, thier identity and thier land. Well Queen Liliuokalani was overthrown by the US and the US Navy, but what the heck...its in the past. but yea, Hawaii and local people are awesome! Back to Football, Aloha Stadium is a really fun and lively place to watch college football. |

I used to have miniature helmets from 31 Flavors ice cream shop. All I needed was 11 miniature schnauzers.

Yeah I do it when I can. I am currently doing a USC Rose Bowl, Matt Leinart. Just waiting to get it back from the reconditioner(painted)in the US.
Got a couple of other projects also, Dolphins, Jets, 49'ers, and a couple of ACC and SEC teams tocomplete the division. Its very hard to get stuff for my hobby here in China not like Rolex watches.......

UH was known as the "Rainbows" until 1974 when their name as changed to "Rainbow Warriors." In 2001, the mens' sports changed their nickname to "Warriors" while the womens' sports are named "Rainbow Wahine." The 2001 change was instigated by June Jones who wanted more manly nickname. He also added the silver and black to the football uniforms minimizing the official school colors of green and white.

Let me find out. I send the helmets to a friend of mine who is also a collector, he lives in New Orleans. I know the guiy he uses is an authorized Schutt reconditioner. We will usually send him abiut 12-15 helmets combined. It makes it alittle cheaper. I will try to find out who it is. I know he does the painting for alot of the Louisiana football team and he does ours, on the side so to speak. Does not re-certify them, only paints them.
