Agree that Juniors is as good as NYC style gets. If they ship, I'd go with them. But I've always had success with Zabar's for shipped baked goods.

Since you're in OH, how about Corky and Lenny's in Cleveland? Pretty good...not close to how great Lou and Hy's was in Akron, but whatcha gonna do.

Edit: even better, check if Jeni's has a cheesecake ice cream. Thinking outside the box here.

I ordered from Junior's last year ,and it was great, just looking for something not so commercialized.

I was at Corky' and Lennys last month , and had a corned beef and pastrami reuben, good stuff , but I prefer Jacks. Funny , I had a Grandfather Hy and his brother's name was Lou.

I will check Zabar's

I was curious and checked the Zabar's website, and lo and behold...they sell Junior's. Ah well, there it is.

Corned beef and pastrami: I hope you had a companion! Or a styro box for the leftovers, lol.

I once paid $72 for a Key Lime Pie from the Blond Giraffe. They've closed, little wonder. I must have been on crack. It was good, but $72?

I actually have the recipe for the best cheesecake, but I'm forbidden to share it outside the family. :). But if you're looking to buy, I put in my vote for Carnegie Deli. And NY style cheesecake should always be accompanied by a glass of B&B!
