I am looking for a christmas gift for my dad and have seen the Glidelock on rolex's website. My dad has a problem with his watch fitting to tight when it gets warm out. He has often complained off this problem.
Can just that braclet be purchased? And if so would someone on here be able to sell it to me?

BTW, he has a 4 year old sub-wears it all day everyday. Great watch.

Sure you can, but it doesnt come cheap.....I would suspect it would be over 1000.00/1500.00.

It would be difficult to source and would be tremendously expensive as well.

Well the DSSD clasp alone in the UK retails for £1400 from Rolex.

Wow for that price I'd recommend just buying a complete DSSD, used.

I would imagine your local AD (Authorised Dealer) should be able to acquire one and even fit it for you.

I suspect you're going to be disappointed. Most AD's aren't able or willing to just order discretionary parts. This isn't like walking into a car dealer and ordering a set of floor mats. Good luck, though. It's very nice that you're taking the time on behalf of your father.

Get him a bracelet tool and show him how to adjust the micro adjustment holes on the side of the clasp.

He can adjust it but he is very active and travels quite a bit. Its not possible to be manually adjusting two or three times a day.
