just for discussions sake

as you can see by posts I'm a total new guy to the site, love the information i have gotten and everyone on the site is great.
I'm currently stalking a GMTII-c but i have been thinking, for basel 2012 what if they introduced a 42mm GMTIIc? what are your thoughts? would you go for it? i see a lot of the purists have been reluctant with the new exp 2 so i was wondering what the feeling was here. sorry if this has been covered I've been up since 3am and am a bit off my square this morning
for any responses

Don't make sense to have a 42mm GMTIIc

ignoring whether it's a good idea or not, it's not going to happen....GMTIIc was revised quite recently, it's a success and keeping the 42mm for the Explorer II gives some differentiation in the line up.

While the GMTc is 40mm by spec I think with the case design it wears a bit larger. While I have a few PAMs in 44mm I dont think I would go for the GMTc if it was a 42 case.....would seem too large for the watch.
