Icon7 couple of questions from a newbie

Hello, everyone -

First post. Joined because I've liked Rolex for a long time and finally looking to buy my first one. A couple of questions -

1. Looks like preownedrolex.com is well-thought of here. Any additional comments good or bad?

2. what should I look for in a band? I've small wrists and note the many various types of bands - any suggestions as to which are best?

Thanks in advance - glad this place is here!

old, I guess - 55. Good shape for an old guy, though - small wrists, big forearms.

Looking to buy used from a reputable site - I'm a firm believer in letting someone else take the hit on new; that goes for cars, bikes and now watches, I guess!

check the whos who on this forum. many good sellers here, when you first contact them, the turnaround is 4 days. so you can get your watch faster than 4 days. pretty good if you ask me.

Welcome. I would suggest to take a tour on the sales section here and contact one of the trusted sellers. I think we may need a little more info on what you are looking for. Sport look, dressy look, SS, YG, WG, RG, Plat, color dial, diamonds, jub, oyster, ect. Awesome people here that can steer you the right way. Good luck.

I like the sport look more than the dressy look, as I'm looking to wear this boating/biking etc; so, I'm not interested in diamonds or other accutrements. NOthing wrong with them, just not my thing.

Like the looks of the Explorer/Submariner with a dark face; I like the SS datejust Thunderbird also.
