Wow, Jeff, that pic of the cyclops is flappergastingly amazing!
The Sub Date SS is THE Rolex IMHO. Thanks for those "Friday night pics"!

Here's one taken before I recieved the anchor from Jeff, but I believe it gets the point across. Time for a complete set w/ warranty card and all

Hey Jaime, that 'booklet holder' looks pretty cool
I've never seen one of those before... must have been rolled out at the same time they changed to warranty cards.

Could be... I also had a clear caseback sticker. This particular watch arrived less than a week before I purchased it, as the previous 16610 at that AD had a hologram. I also got the leather warranty card holder from Jeff. If you need accessories, get hold of him first! He's not just an excellent photographer...

I don't have a SD anymore, I sold it a few months ago. Pictured above is my new Sub that I just got a week ago.

Re: Photos
Jeff,
Those are lovely pictures. Might I ask what camera and lens you used. I have a collection of vintage watches and would love to post some pics for the non Rolex forum and would like my pics to be of the same quality of yours. What's the best resolution to use for posting pics on these forums? Thanks. Dave |

I think we should make it a TRF tradition from now on to post pictures of our watches on a certain day of the week. I know that another Rolex forum (TZ) has a tradition like this where they post pictures and wrist shots of their watches every Friday. I think it will be great to do it too but I also want to make sure it is okay with everybody since its already being done by another forum.

Thanks for the compliment! I use a Sony Cybershot 7.2 MegaPixel. I set it on Macro mode. It's nothing fancy, but it gets the job done!
