If he's willing to go to the AD, then why not?

He'll probably back out of the AD meet at the last minute.....
For me with a watch off craigslist it would have to be a very good deal and the AD would have to take the back of the watch off (which I'm sure they'd charge for) then you'd need to keep the watch in full view until the money exchange, the AD is not going to let you do the deal right in their store....... If you don't cover your arss and make 99% sure it's real the the risk to reward is too high - you're risking a lot to save a little, it's just not worth it in my opinion. |

For 6900 you should try our trusted sellers here in the For Sale section

Just a few suggested questions (if you haven't asked the CL seller this already):
Is the seller the original owner? If not ... this is a pretty new model, so what's the history? Is the box and all the relevant paperwork and tags included? Presumably the seller's name would be on the warranty material. Willingness to take it to an authorized dealer is a good sign assuming you go along for the visit. That would allow you to take a good look at it as well either at the store or at a nearby coffeeshop where you would conduct business. |
