Hey it can take 10bars (100m or 300ft) last time I checked the water pressure coming from your shower head is no where near, as it would make wounds on your skin if it did.

SHOWER with it if you feel like it.

i wear all of mine in the shower, apart from the 1680, its due a pressure test so i dont want any issues on my vintage

There is no way a normal shower will damage your Rolex with water pressure.

I wear my watch to the gym and I'll wash it off with warm soapy water in the sink because I don't want to risk dropping it in shower. Sometimes I wear it in the shower, sometimes I don't.

Always shower with the watch, as early as 1980 with my Seiko Diver's 150m. Never a problem.

I shower...That's how I keep it clean. No gunk on my watches! Also if you have "soap scum" your using the wrong soap! DON'T use regular hand soap!!!

I have owned Rolex watches since I was 16 and I really never take them off I switch through my collection but the one I wear at the time I keep on till I want to wear a diff one. Maybe if he is selling Japanease Rolex watches the shower would be bad but a real swiss one no problm. I have never had a problem with Tudor, Rolex, Omega, or any other fine swiss watch when it comes to water prof in showers. Although the old seamasters wernt great but Rolex is a diff story. I have had a simple oyster as old as 1947 that was completely waterprof in shower pool or anywhere. Rolex since the oyser case is the best watch for water resistance
