Just to join in, Santa brought me Cube hyde SL for Christmas. I have not ridden in ten years so hears hoping this is a good starter for me to get fit.

I think we need to expand the budget here a bit. This is a forum based on excess right? Why not ride the best?!? I think a set of Zipp 303 carbon clinchers should be on everyone's list for 2012 upgrades. I have two dozen sets of Zipp wheels, and in my job, I am asked to test every other wheel on the market. Nothing else comes close!

In all seriousness, at the $500-600 price range, there is no wheel that can match a hand-built open pro with a Chris King hub.

still have original wheels on

the other Bike... stopped for a coffee and mobile phone pic.. my Son rides this now
