Just whatever type of hand soap you have should do the trick and I have never had issues with a toothbrush scratching SS, Gold or Platty wither

What do you use, especially you members with 18K models??
I use a babies toothbrush to clean my watches (sold at any drug store). It has a tiny head and the bristles are very very soft. Highly recommended to getting into small areas.

@JustABreathAway

I would not recommend using even a soft tooth brush on Gold. I just use a mild hand soap, apply thoroughly with my hands and rinse it.
I once used a very soft brush on my Gold Center Oyster links, and they got a lot(a lot) of minute scratches on them. Thankfully had a gold cleaning cloth which took them out.

I clean fast, not soaking for hours! Its a diluted solution and has not
caused any problems. I've used this for 20+ years!

X2 IMO Veraet is the best. As for a soft brush, look for a child's toothbrush in any drugstore.
