How do you wear it?
The clasp thread made me think about how one wears a watch. I perfer mine a little loose, I dont know how some folks wear them where it appears to cut off circulation to the hand...

I wear my SD so that I can slip my whole little finger under the clasp. That fit is nice and snug, but not too snug.

More snug than loose.

If you wear it too loose, it will slip further down than is comfortable..

I prefer mine a bit loose but not to where it will slip below your wrist bone. I think it puts stress on the bracelet when you bend your hand back and forth. I've seen men wear them so loose that they look like a real bracelet. Loose is supposed to cause more wear but as someone on here said, thats IMO more a result of the dirt collected in the crevices. Keep it clean and wear it the way you like it!

That does it. I'm going to see my AD tomorrow about getting a link added to my bracelet. This is ridiculous!

Yep, the little pinkey fits between the wrist and clasp.

I like it snug so it's not sliding around but could still work a little finger in (tight).

Wearing it slightly snug keeps the mechanism wound better than when you wear it loose. Plus prevents bracelet from falling low on wrist and then getting stressed when you get up from chair. I saw a real damaged bracelet...pretty new too...from this kind of action at my AD. Wearing it too loose looks girlyman to me, so I try to find a balance.
I saw a woman the other day wearing her beautiful 18 carat Rolie like a loose bracelet with a bunch of other stuff on her same wrist....including diamond tennis bracelet and other metal bracelets. That will scratch that watch all to hell and she did not even seem to care. |

Loose enough to get a pinky under the bracelet. Nothing more uncomfortable to me than a tight bracelet that leaves the breacelet impression in the wrist.............
