Looking and thinking about your next one. That's the fun of it all!

Nice watch.....
Uh oh...I think he's hooked. This thing of ours...this game of admiration, this obsession of fine timepieces and historical horology which develops into an uncontrolable desire to gift yourself with a new crown for every achievement is an addiction no different than that of a junkie in need of a fix for black tar heroin. Aint it great!

Congratulations Matt , you do know spending too much time on TRF with all us crazy WIS just makes it much worse don't you?

Enjoy, that constant looking at your watch just because it is beautiful is something that for me still hasn't worn off after 12 years

Now what time was it again....mmm

Or you meant you want to flip your Sub for something else already?

Post some pics!!!

I finished my MS Chemistry fall 2011, and my wife asked do you still want a Sppedmaster? My eyes lit up- as if I was getting a red Ryder bb gun. I started looking around, but since I had my seamster fully serviced last summer I was pretty content.

I really liked the new, larger speedmaster, but I think I'd prefer a vintage winder. I've wanted a TT blue face sub since I was about ten. I used to read my dad's GMTii materials as a young lad. Even though, I thought the Rolex were out of my price range, I considers them.

Then I saw the Milgauss GV and the scientific connection, and having magnetized my Omega with strong magnets, the Milgauss sounded great. I really wanted it, but it seemed a out of my price range, but my wife called me and said she out down a deposit at the AD and to go down and see if that's what I really wanted. Her friend has one actually and let me wear it, and it was over i had to have it and she knew. I was so excited when it came in. The look and feel was perfect and Rolex did a great job on the new bracelet. I particularly like the EasyLink which is great as your wrist expands throughout the day. Come to find out, my friend from undergrad got one last summer when he finished med school. I got to see all three versions, but I love the green sapphire. It reminds me of my birthstone, classic car auto glass, and looks awesome when walking on grass.

Got my omega in 2000, got my milgauss gv just before Xmas and already looking to acquire a GMTii (dad rarely wears it, but I'd have to buy it from him), yacht master of a friend (he got laid off, and needs cash) or that nice polar white explorer ii or new explorer I considered. But I told my wife before the milgauss, looking at my past it's a once a decade event, but I may have spoken too soon. At least she knows what a ss Daytona is!
