Listen

Is the sapphire more or less raised over the bezel on the new generation of Rolex badges? Kind MLK Day thanks.

That is the theory we are working with. We are looking for confirmation. Thanks.

If you're comparing to the older Acrylic then the answer is clear. Not sure between ceramic models and the ones just replaced by ceramics

I think he is asking if it is closer to the bezel like in an Omega Seamaster...

What's Omega?

Listen old sports, I am going 116610. My brother goes Goose green crystal. My best friend goes GMTIIc and Hulk.

We are sitting around looking at photos. We are not certain whether my vintage Sub sapphire crystal rises higher above the bezel than the Goose crystal and the GMTIIc and Hulk crystals.

Thread is useless without pics. I borrowed a few from another thread I started awhile ago on this same topic. Search could be your friend.

Modern ceramic crystal almost flush with bezel. Boring. Perhaps functional. Still boring.

Vintage 1680, much more interesting

Deep Sea Special has the crazy tall one

More old school crystals proving their charm

So why don't you just sit down with your homies and compare the watches?
