Hublot ice bang

What are people's thoughts on this brand? I tried on their ice bang yesterday and thought it was great. I also thought it was expensive for a brand that is relatively new I am not even sure if it has its own movement inside. I could not get my head round how expensive it was (£13,200).

Anyone own a hublot? What's the resell like? Anyone have an opinion? If it was a bit less cash I would have walked out with it there and then but as you can tell i am having a tough time understanding the premium this brand is asking.

Thanks

I think the Hublots looks terrible and there is something obnoxious about the brand in general. Not sure but I think they use ETA movements. Buy a Royal Oak instead, AP got the original design as well as great movements and an amazing finish.

Agreed. A Hublot is a brash man's Audemars Piguet

There's a guy in my class who wears the Hublot Ice Bang... Have to say it looks really nice!

I have owned two Hublot watches, but none from the Big Bang line. I liked them bought but the resale value is terrible. Probably wouldn't buy a Hublot at MSRP.

Hublot is the original rubber strap watch and their design hasn't changed all that much since the 80's except for size. While there are similarities between the big bang and the ROO, I certainly wouldn't call it an AP wannabe.

I would never spend the money they're asking for them but would gladly buy one for the right price

No offense to any owner, but for the money I'd go with an AP any day.
