Rolex triple dates/moonphases and pre Daytona chronographs anyone?

Hi, wondering if any amongst us here have the Rolex triple dates/ moonphases or the pre Daytona chronographs , surely very impressive and the most complicated watches in the vintage Rolex lineup. If so please post pics with ref no., year and any history if available!

Well, since I just updated my "Mystery Rolex" post - https://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=148280 -, and saw this one right below it, I guess I will post some pictures. here is my 1959(?) 14k gold Rolex 6238 "Pre-Daytona" with Transitional dial and original bracelet. The transitional 6234 dial includes the spellings of "oyster chronographe" and "antimagnetique".

This watch goes on the block at Christies in June 2012 estimated at 30-50k. I just made the decision to sell it last week... and I Fed-Exed it to Christies New York this morning.

Anyway, here are some pictures (One end of the bracelet was removed for these pictures, since I was trying to get a shot of the "registered design 6238" on the case, but was unable to get a good shot of it in this lighting since the inscription has faded over time.)

How about I post a few more pictures of my 6234-lol. One day I hope to own a 6036 or 6236. In fact, I might sell my lungs for a 8171 in the future (When they come out with synthetic lungs) Until then...
