That's a funny commercial, but last year, I used the same Gillette shaving head for over a year, just to prove I could do it. I've been using the one on my handle now since about November 2011.
I get great shaves and even though a pack is pretty expensive, when I buy one, I'm looking at at least several years of shaves. I posted my simple methods on this board once, so if anyone is interested they're here somewhere. Your performance may vary. By the way, I do like the vibrating head quite a lot and it contributes a lot to the longevity of the head.
