New member , first question seeking for help - Rolex Oyster Perpetual

First of all I would like to say hello to all forum members.
I have a small collection of automatic and manual wind watches and I always like oldish/vintage Rolex's, never had one :)
So this one will be, if the gods are with me, the first one
As all noobs and first timers in Rolex watches I have to ask the question:

Is this one a legit and authentic one?
This is on the ebay from a member who's having more than 400 positive feedbacks but as we all know...seller is from Soth Korea

Thank you,
Alex

The watch is good. But as they say, buy the seller first....

I only buy from trusted and verifies sources myself.

Great choice. All stainless with the silver dial is classic. Looks in very nice condition.

That is a looker. But that case is in real bad shape. It will never be waterproof, there is very bad pitting around the gasket channel

watch looks authentic but the corrosion may be an issue. I can't tell if the metal was corroded or just debris.

Maybe it's just me, but I'm always a little cautious of the prospect of buying from someone who posts a bunch of pictures of the watch in various states of disassembly . . . be careful.

As I said I like the vintage on this one, plus there is a nice amount remaining in my pocket ;)
And in my country the official Rolex store has 30% and plus on prices comparing with other countries.

Yes, I know, could be a problem, I sent a message to the seller...asking for more details

Well, true but at least you can say that it is authentic , I mean the photos because until you receive the watch nothing is for real :)

I'm sure if you look around a bit more you could do better in regards to overall condition.

Good luck with your choice and your hunt.

The seller might post real pics but does he own the watch? Ask him to post his username with the watch and a specific time on watch and send you pics. Rememeber to ask more questions. Be careful on ebay if you haven't researched on the seller. It's like going to your local alleyway to do business :)

I would do this as a minimum before buying. Good advice.
