This is on the ebay from a member who's having more than 400 positive feedbacks but as we all know...seller is from Soth Korea Thank you, Alex The description as it is presented on ebay Nice Rolex DateJust Watch Reference Number . 16030 Serial Number . 5597070 / 1978 Caliber Number . 3035 Original Steel Bezel Stainless Steel Case & Screw Back Case / Good Condition Original Dial (not repainted), Hands, Index / Good Condition Original Rolex Screw Crown / Good Condition Plastic Glass Very Clean Automatic Winding Movement Cal.3035 27Jewels Quick Set Date / Good Working Condition & Clean , Recently Completed Overhaul by Certified Master Watchmaker 20 Link Original S.t Steel Solid Bracelet Good Condition No Box & Paper Watch Only. |

The watch is good. But as they say, buy the seller first....
I only buy from trusted and verifies sources myself.

Great choice. All stainless with the silver dial is classic. Looks in very nice condition.

That is a looker. But that case is in real bad shape. It will never be waterproof, there is very bad pitting around the gasket channel

Thank you, missed the pitting :)
However I don't think that I will "dive" with this beauty if I won the auction :D |

watch looks authentic but the corrosion may be an issue. I can't tell if the metal was corroded or just debris.

Maybe it's just me, but I'm always a little cautious of the prospect of buying from someone who posts a bunch of pictures of the watch in various states of disassembly . . . be careful.

As I said I like the vintage on this one, plus there is a nice amount remaining in my pocket ;) And in my country the official Rolex store has 30% and plus on prices comparing with other countries. Quote:
Well, true but at least you can say that it is authentic , I mean the photos because until you receive the watch nothing is for real :) |

I'm sure if you look around a bit more you could do better in regards to overall condition.
Good luck with your choice and your hunt.

The seller might post real pics but does he own the watch? Ask him to post his username with the watch and a specific time on watch and send you pics. Rememeber to ask more questions. Be careful on ebay if you haven't researched on the seller. It's like going to your local alleyway to do business :)
