you also have to take in consideration that everything is expensive in the UK. My best estimate is that it will be 6500 to 7300 USD.

Yep, you're right about the cost delta in the UK. We'll have to wait until someone scans the new price book and posts that.

I think $6850 to $7000 sounds about right.

I think that these figures are extremely optimistic, unless Rolex intends to use the Sub ND as a loss leader.

The 116610 costs $8000 and the only difference between it and the 114060 is going to be the movement, the dial and crystal.

There's not a $1000 difference in costs there that I can see, because the date complication, the most significant difference, isn't that big a deal.

A currency converter always over-estimates the US prices, but not by all that much.

If someone can make a better argument for a cheaper watch, I'm all ears.

I think $7250 is a low-ball possibility. $7450 is a better guess.

A lot of people would love that, but can you rationalize that figure?

I'd really like to hear it.

Heck, if it comes in at that, I might buy one myself.

Agreed that $7,450 would be the best estimate. I would imagine it would be right at $7,500 sharp - which leaves room of $500 to make a difference in price for the date sub - I mean, the only thing extra is a date wheel with a minor complication - everything else being the same.

But this is also considering the sub will stay at $8k. Who knows... Very likely Rolex might bump it up to maybe $8,200 or so when the ND sub comes out at 7.5k
