Help me Identify a Lost Ladies Rolex
Hello all I'm looking to replace a vintage ladies Rolex that my fiance received from her mother, but has since lost it. I've attached a picture, but have no other information past that. Is this a good place to start?

HI, just replying because nobody has done so yet, i think your problem is gonna be that that watch looks customized, experts will only be able to help you date or spot details for watches that are in original condition, but once they get customized (in particular the iced bezel) it gets a lot harder to get a positive ID of a vintage piece..AND its a ladies piece, again its a bit harder to source knowledge for these...
Still i am not one of those experts so maybe your still in luck! Definitely adding more photos will help your research... |

That's discouraging; I didn't realize it was customized. Does the style of the face (it was mother of pearl); the hour marks, and the second and hour hands point to any model/year?
She didn't take too many pictures before loosing it but I'll see if I can't find anymore without asking her (she doesn't like being reminded about loosing it). |

I don't think it's customized but a typical ladies Rolex from the 60's.

A similar below is available. I'm guessing the seller would take less than the starting price (If he/she has any sense.) http://www.ebay.com/itm/LADIES-VINTA...item3f14e19df1

Are you searching for any particular style number? You bring up a good point about price, assuming 1CT on the diamonds what price range is fair for this watch depending on condition? |

The key words are "Rolex ladies 14k vintage" http://www.ebay.com/itm/ROLEX-Ladies...item2ebc262747 Another similar above P.S This one http://www.ebay.com/itm/1946-ROLEX-V...item416352d733 http://www.ebay.com/itm/1946-ROLEX-V...item416352d733 This is quite different but I love the star indices. The dial is rough though... If it were stainless I would buy it for my Girlfriend.

Thanks!
Looks like this one, in better condition, w/box+papers, sold a few weeks ago for $1900: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...vip=true&rt=nc The seller has listed that one for $2500 many times, looks like he's stubborn. |

Getting closer:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/300676764452...=p5197.c0.m619 Does the style number here mean that the one I attached should be close to #8366? |

Yeah i don't think its customized but rather the style Rolex produced for many Women's styles from say the 50s-60s. These come up every once in awhile on ebay. Keep an eye out and i'm sure something will come along.
