Bulova Super Seville Date Just
Is this some kind of Frankenfake or did Bulova make this?
Sure does look like a Rolex Datejust so I vote fake but the pics are clear which is unusual for a fraudster. http://www.ebay.com/itm/MENS-VINTAGE...item2ebc289438 |

I just googled the name and came up with a lot of pictures so I believe Bulova did make this hommage watch. They also have a Day-Date model so I wouldn't call this a fake but more of a look-alike.

I've seen a TT version of this on a few wrists and mistaken it for a DJ. Interestingly, of the folks I asked, all of them were "gift watches" with some kind of engraving (such as an alma mater or a sorority).

The item description says that it's a Rado.
I saw a Longines on a barber here recently that looked like a DateJust. It was about 20 years old and had some corporate engraving on it, too. I don't know about this one.

I wonder if that "Jubilee" bracelet would fit on a real Datejust. If so, that would make an inexpensive replacement option. Pity Rolex didn't trademark the Datejust name.
