Ditto here! My first Daytona had the slate face which looked awesome in pictures and under the bright lights of my AD. But I quickly found that I could practically never read the time or the subdials in any regular, ambient or outdoor light and forget trying to read it on a bright sunny day. I returned it and now have a TT white faced Arabic Panda dial and can read all the dials easily in any light!

I like the way the slate dial "matches" the stainless steel components of the tutone Daytona.
