Yeah yeah yeah.
Bobby V is perfect for you guys. He goes from one NYY little brother to another. He should have stayed in Japan! In all seriousness, I got a sister who lives and works in Boston. Great town but don't wear your Yankee gear there! All in good fun

I wear my Sox gear in the Bronx? Sometimes by the end of a game some of your compadres are buying me beer, other times I'm wearing beer, it usually depends on the outcome. Here's hoping I wear beer.

There's never a shortage of A-holes anywhere you go, I like to think of that stuff as misguided passion. While I hate getting dowsed, I do love representing!! And that's why they lash out.
Passion is the key, we love our teams but we think our passion entitles us to disregard or hate the other, it doesn't but we act that way. As high brow as this sounds I still hate the Yankees...

What was disappointing to me about Boston was that they have last call at 1:30am. TOO EARLY!!!!!

personally, i'm looking forward to another amazing season full of surprises....baseball, even after all these years, always serves up something new, interesting and exciting.
i hope the red sox "fans" on this thread can find a little bit of inner peace and think of baseball outside of their narrow-minded "i hate the yankees!" mindset. such an ugly inferiority complex. and what gets me is that long-time yankees fans don't give much of a rat's a$$ of the supposed "rivalry"....there's only one goal: the next championship. enjoy the season! and here's to #28!! |

I hope yankees fans can find a little piece of inner humility and an enema, since you were speaking of rat's @$$es! Long time Sox fans know the score and that's why beating you guys is so sweet. You have to know where to go after hours in Boston, it is a provincial town in many ways but it's also a hard-core party town

have to agree with you on that one.....everyone likes to take down the champ. same thing goes for royals fans. they also get pumped to beat the yankees and feel good one day out of the season. |

The Giants were the champs, we took down the yankees, and your "champs" split with the Royals 3 games each. Don't kid yourself.
