I would never buy on 47th.

Cool to look around for fun on 47th but I would stick with an AD or a trusted TRF seller.

Oh wow! I can't believe I almost missed an option of buying from TRF! Holly crap, that was a close one!

You guys rule, thank you for the input. Next time we all meet, the first round is on me.

this is an old post but I walked in and out of 47th street not finding what i wanted and on the very last stop i found the chocolate daytona i wanted. the guys said 20k and i said the money i would pay would insult you - he said how much? i said 18k. 18700 it's yours.
I could have gotten it a few hundred cheaper, but 18700 is a great deal and i've worn the watch 7 months now - only seeing 18k prices very recently - still a 20k + average pre-owned.

Contact one of our top sellers and describe the exact watch you are looking for. They will probably have it or get it for you in a short while.

ive had some issues on 47st. lost several k and a watch. i would NEVER buy a watch like that again.

bobswatches.com they have the three day examination, one year warranty and its good service, same day shipping and perhaps most importantly guaranteed all rolex parts.

Use a Trusted Seller. Like stated above I wouldn't buy anything on 47th Street unless you really know someone there.

I would rather buy from anyone else other than a 47th Street shop, unless you are very familiar with them. Either check on here for a trusted seller or check with an AD that buys and sells pre-owned. Most of those type of AD's know what they are doing and often have good buys... IMHO

I've requested info and quotes from DavidSW on here and he's awesome. I have to go with the folks on here, the TRF recognized sellers are the way to go. I buy from our community.

47th st.....Walter! He's on the corner of 6th and 47th. Can't miss him, he's got the big window. To him Rolex is the less expensive watch, lol. You have to see what he's got....bring your check book.

Agreed I bought my Daytona from exclusive time on 47th street. Yup, walked right in off the street after stopping in 10 places. We struck a deal and I bought it. Great price and when I stopped in 4 days ago to shop he offered to polish the buckle which had a few desk dive scratches. I'm pleased.
